Boxing week $35 can us Mexico plan

Dave8602

Hi,

I would like to switch to the boxing day offer $35 Canada US Mexico however I do not see it as a selection which is odd.

Can anyone please help to see how I can get this plan as a loyal PM subscriber? Or any thoughts why I don't see it as a selection for plan changes as it doesn't say for new activations?

Thank you All

@Handy1 Yes, this was successful workaround and it worked to get the $35 can us mex plan.  Thank you so much!

@ORNGNBLK Successfully done by the step down plan method and I was able to get the $35 desire plan.  Thank you so much!

Hi @Dave8602 . Hopefully you have already taken the $30 plan (and changed now) and then opted for your desired plan to change on renewal. Please let us know if you’ve had success, so that others in the same boat may find solutions if they have the same questions. Thanks !

@Dave8602  Yes if you do immediate plan change  to the $30 plan you will then see the $35 75GB MEX roaming plan . Then you can change to the $35 plan using the change in renewal option . This is cheaper way as a work around for that plan then to port number out and back in new pm account with new sim and new email .

Hi @hairbag1 thanks for the information

I have attached the recent message from CS agent on the reason since I don't see that $35 plan. But it seems since my current plan is at $45 and I am currently over the threshold of $35 to be eligible.  I am try the step down plan as the other members mentioned.  Such a bummer I have to go through this an existing customer...smh. Thx for the help though

Hi @ORNGNBLK thanks for the insight here.

I am seeing the $30 plan the lowest plan (see attached).   I believe this should work to unlock the $35 plan but do you have any experience in doing this workaround though? I would hate to lose my $45 can us mex plan as I haven't done a step down.

I have attached the recent message from CS agent on the reason since I don't see this $35 plan. But it seems to align that my current plan is higher than $35 and a step down like you mentioned should work.

Thx again for your help.

@hTideGnow thanks for the insight

I am only seeing the $30 plan (see attached) not a $29 plan though.   I believe this should work to unlock the $35 plan...any experience in doing this working though? I would hate to lose my $45 can us mex plan

hi @Dave8602

not everyone see the $35 plans.

Bbut there is a workaround to unlock it  since you see a $29 plan there on your My Account

You can first pick $29 plan and do a Change Now plan change , which of course you need to pay now and the remaining days on your current cycle will be wasted.    With this, you might be able to unlock the $35 roaming plan, and you can then schedule a plan change on the following renewal day

You can try to “step” down and if you see a $30 plan available, take that and change now (you will lose any promos and extras with your current plan, and be charged now, losing any unused data and minutes. Then opt for the plan in question and change on renewal. Hope this helps

@Dave8602

not all plans are available to all existing customers. Log in to your account to see plans available to you. If you already have a high priced plan, you likely won't have availability to all plans.

added....ask Customer Support what your options are...click on the orange bubble on bottom right side of page to start that process. Give them your acct #, ph #, name on acct, PM pin #.
