Bought a nonrefundable Public Mobile SIM card from Telus

I ended up signing up to Public Mobile via eSIM, but now I have this physical PM SIM card that I can't return. Is there anything I can use this for with my current setup or should I try to sell/gift it? Is there a way to have both an eSIM and a SIM with the same account info to safeguard losing my phone/SIM and get the best of both worlds with both the virtual and physical SIM card or would this just complicate things? thanks in advance

@zephyr707 no, one account can only be tied with one sim , whether it is physical or eSIM

But keep it as a backup.   PM currently cannot re-issue eSIM if anything wrong, like you accidentally delete it or you change phone. With those cases, you will need to move back to physical sim.  (But this re-issue eSIM limitation likely will be fixed soon)

@zephyr707  Keep it as a back up incase you decide to change phones or give to a friend for a referral reward
