Hello,
I am new customer of PM, today Dec 23rd, I just activated the SIM card.
I saw the plan says 100 Minutes Canada-Wide Talk, not sure if incoming minutes are counted in this 100 minutes? Thanks.

@Jessica35 just to add......
Incoming calls are unlimited.
From any where...any country.
Outgoing calls will be rounded up to the next minute.
In most cases calling an 800 number will NOT count against your 100 minutes.
Outgoing calls are Canada Wide but you must use 1 or +1 for long distance calls.
Answering your voicemail will be rounded up to the next minute.
But you can call from a landline with no deductions from your 100.
To save on your outgoing minutes, text your friends and family to call you. 😉
Texting is unlimited.
But to send a pic by text you must turn on your data. Data apparently is not debited.
To send a pic on a iPhone to another Apple product is free over wifi using iMessage.
You must be in Canada for all outgoing and incoming calls unless you are in USA with USA add ons.
If you can afford....buy 2 x $5 500 Canada Wide add on minutes and once you get into the last 500 minutes then purchase another 500.
Add ons only expire once the minutes are exhausted.
If you have no extra Canada Wide minutes to use THEN your LD add ons paid for or freebies will be used for Canada Wide calls once you exhaust your 100 minutes.
@Chrissyrioux12 for your in laws as well.

In addition to what others have said above, I would like to point out that calls you make to toll-free numbers (1-800 numbers and such) do not count towards your 100 outgoing minutes.

@Jessica35 welcome aboard. incoming minutes are free

There is an easy way to test this to ensure that incoming are certainly not counted: (before accessing self-serve, clear your system's cache and cookies, open and incognito tab, then log in)

The 100 minutes on the $15 plan are only metered for outgoing calls. All incoming calls are unlimited. Calls to voicemail are counted against your 100 minutes. Calls are rounded up to the nearest minute and include the ring time of approximately 7 to 8 seconds. (So a call will be round up to 2 minutes at about 53 seconds.)
Most customers on this plan supplement the minutes by purchasing the $5/500 min add on. This is a one time purchase with no expiry. The add on will roll over every 30 days until completely consumed.
Additionally download textnow or fongo that you can use for free on wifi to call voicemail or phone numbers with a high likelihood of being put on hold. These voip providers can also be used on mobile data using about 0.5mb/1min.
The holiday gift of 500 international calling minutes can also be used for calling within Canada but you may want to save these minutes to call the higher value international destinations (up to $0.05/min).
Welcome to Public Mobile!

It’s unlimited incoming calls , just your calling out counts towards the mins used .. also I think they round up the minutes so if you call out for 20 seconds and hang up it will count as 1 minute use

@Jessica35 incoming calls are free. Only outgoing minutes are counted
But remember, calling Voicemail from your phone counts, too. So, use another phone or landline to check VM to save the minutes
and remember minutes are round up to the next minute, so , a 1:05 call will be counted for 2 mins
