I have a 5G plan but I'm not receiving 5G service and there is no option to choose that on my phone anymore after switching from Telus. I am in Alberta.

what brand and model your phone?
you sure it has 5G?
and with 4G or LTE connected, check the speed test and let us know the result

I tried what you suggested but there is no option for 5 g to select.

check your network mode, make sure 5G is selected, or 5G Auto on iPhone
You can also try Reset All networks , but please note it will also delete you saved Wifi and Bluetooth connection
But even on LTE, you can test the speed, you would be getting a much better speed than the capped speed of 100Mbps for 4G plan
