HI @Carolccc
i think the overall market is pushing for higher price for the low price plans. I also checked myself, all 3 Tier 3 offering $19 for 500 mb
i think for PM, to offset the lack of live support is the 5% off and friend referrals rewards and the 10 points ($10 off) annually. And the mid-range and high range plans are definitely attactive still

The price of plans goes higher. One of the public mobile advantage is better price base on the similar wireless service. Even no live customer service, only can email and text messages. I saw a lots of wingback offer from other vendors is much better than public mobile . I am so sad to see my 3 referrals has gone. Hope public mobile can offer more cost-effective plan to win more customers.

hi @tonisage
yes, I see the plans for the plans on the cheap ends got updated. Someone posted earlier about possible end of those plans. Although PM usually simply removed that end day after, but this time it is real 😞
and thanks @softech for the breakdown, so PM still offers better plan. Just sad to see $19 back to 500Mb. I thought 1GB would stay as the minimum data

not unusual to see price changes. Plan price goes up and down. When there is a price decrease, there is no reason for that "sudden price change", too 🙂
and to be honest, the price change was not sudden, the $19 and couple of those "4G" plans did have an alert that price till Jan 27 since last week.
Also, the $19 plan is now inline with other Tier 3 providers. So, you an say it is a price change across the market
PM's $27-10 Gb is the best plan across Tier 3, others are charging $29 for 10GB or $25 for only 2GB
PM's $32-20 GB is also the best plan across Tier 3 in that price, others does not have that, they either have $29 plan for less data, or $35 for more data (PM has the same $35 offering as other Tier 3)
and there is no price change for price $35 and over
@ORNGNBLK price changes usually do not link with Schedule maintenance. Usually they just change the price without any maintenance, or most maintenances also do not come with price change. They have this maintenance just happen that they are changing the design and colour scheme of the page

@tonisage I’m personally using this as a learning experience. The next time there’s a community announcement like the one below for “scheduled maintenance”, I’ll really push those who are on the fence about subscribing to do so before the maintenance takes place. It sucks that the prices have been raised, and in one case (on a $19 plan) the price remained but the available data has been cut from 1GB to 500MB. It reminds me all too much of the grocery store where the food shrinks to keep the price the same. In any event, Thanks for sharing

Price of plans change about every month. The lowest price is normally around Black Friday and Boxing Day deals then price will return to normal price.
