My plan changed to 4g on June 20/24 but I do not have the ability to select a 4g cellular network. My only options are 3G or LTE (same as before). My I-Phone XE does support 4g. Am I accessing 4g through LTE or doing something wrong?

LTE = 4G
Also, even on a 3G plan you can still connect to the 4G and 5G networks with a compatible phone. The plan just gives you faster speed on those networks.

I have done this, but I had that same option before changing from 3g to 4g. So have I really gained speed?
Have read that LTE is not really 4g. Confused to say the least.

Hi @Princess77, yes, 4G and LTE are pretty much the same thing so you should be okay. Try installing a speediest app to compare your speeds if you suspect you are not getting the right speeds.

open settings on cellphone / Cellular / Cellular Data Options / Voice & Data / then select LTE
