15 days free??

Was thinking of trying my son with his first phone. If I subscribe for the $40 plan to get the 15 days free.  If i feel it’s not working out with him. Can I just stop after the 45 days? Or   Is there any fine print that you don’t get the 15 days after XX amount of time. I’ve been thinking about getting him a phone activated for a while now. And was thinking this could be a good option to try him out with one.

@Mallard1990

for a first cell, I'd suggest getting the $25 plan rather than the $40 plan once the 15 days trial is nearing the end. The $25 plan has unlimited Canada wide calling, unlimited texting to / from anywhere on planet earth...plus a gig of data to use every 30 days.

You can cancel anytime before the end of the 15 day period or subscribe to another plan via My Account.

If you want to cancel after 45 days, you will, of course, have to pay the amount of the plan you choose once the 15 days are up.

@Mallard1990 , you can stop the trial within the 15 days and pay nothing.  Alternatively if you like the service you can subscribe to any plan you like within the 15 day trial period.  The take no action option would result in the $40 plan subscription after the 15 day trial period.
