Hi everyone,
I understand initially a Public eSIM might be free but if I keep changing phones does Public require me to pay $5 each time to get a new eSIM?
I'm comparing this situation to Freedom, with Freedom I understand it's free every time to get a new eSIM.

you can get a replacement for FREE
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/get-a-sim-card
Existing eSIM users at Public Mobile who need a replacement can do so at no extra cost. When you request a new eSIM through the usual process, we automatically identify you as an existing eSIM user and waive the replacement fee. See below for steps on how to get your new eSIM.

hi @ipro31
replacement esims are free. The app might be smart enough not to charge you when you asked for new esim. But if it charges you, pay first and support agent will reimburse

HI @ipro31
Yes, Telus owns Mobile Klink and the Community mgr directing all CPO purchase to MK now.
I prefer shows like that over eBay or Kijiji, better protected. Most their CPO phone (may even be all) have 1 year warranty and you don't have to wrorry about blacklisted

hi @ipro31
not sure Freedom But this plan does not have unlimited data, so the slow down comparison does not apply with this plan
