Does any one know how I can opt out of security verification ? I don't want to receive code by text or email. My login password is good enough. Is there a way I can opt out? Such a waste of time feature.

when you don't have a phone with you, you click Didn't receive code or Resend code at the 2FA step and you can then choose email or voicemail (which you can call yourself to get to your VM from another phone) to get the 2FA code
and PM can help as well if you really cannot get the code

I'd rather pick non. Because of this feature I wasn't able to login for 2weeks. Or use my phone to update information.
I wish public mobile would let it's customers decide and not use a blanket solution for all

Sorry @Teshwar , you can't opt out
like other mobile carriers and bank, opt out 2FA is not an option. it is there for your protection. 2FA text and email are not the best, but better than none
