Hey Community,
Today you get to be the CEO of Holiday Creation. Think of anything worthy of celebrating, pick a day on the calendar, and boom, you’ve done it! Here are some holidays we made up to help get your creative juices flowing:
1. Catch Up On Your Shows Day
Still haven’t caught up on the latest season of that show you’re obsessed with? We think a national holiday is in order. On the last Wednesday of August, everyone should get the day off from work to do nothing but sit on the couch and satisfy their cravings by soaking up those final few episodes.
2. White Elephant Delivery Day
It’s like a White Elephant, but for take-out food! Get a group of friends or family together and pull names from a hat. On December 21st, order delivery to that person’s house from a restaurant of your choosing. It would be so much fun opening a box to reveal your mystery dinner!
3. Cringe at Your Old Posts Day
On this day we should look back at our social media posts from ten years ago and say, “Why in the world did I ever put that online?” Sharing old posts is highly encouraged so we can all bask in the cringe-worthy tweets and statuses of old.
Those are just a few of our ideas, but we’d love to hear what you can come up with! Comment below by 12:00 PM ET on April 2, 2019 and tell us what you think Canada’s next new holiday should be and we’ll randomly 3 winners who will receive a one time $50 Public Mobile account credit. Who knows, maybe your holiday will catch on and be Canada’s next big thing! Contest runs March 26 to April 2, 2019. Read Contest Rules before entering.

I guess markavee took a hike. He didn't seem to enjoy his short experience here. I think he was from elsewhere too.
Yay for ty_89.

The tags might not have any impact in contacting them if they disabled the email notifications. Alternatively, the moderator could contact them directly via their email, but not sure what's the policy regarding that method.

Hmm...what's with winning contestants not responding? I happen to know that
new PM community acccounts have e-mail notices for private messages turned on by default, since at least mid-2017. Have they deliberately turned off their e-mail notifications for private messages? Well, their loss, in that case.

As a somewhat new client of PM, you can receive quite a lot of email to the point of annoyance. As email notification is on for everything, replies to new posts, Bravo's, badges, tags, ... my phone went off constantly. My immediate action was to disable email notifications. So, I can understand why some people would remove notification. Alternatively, they might not have the account link to their phone and/or seldomly check the account.
