Hey Community,
Take “throwing shade” and throw it out the window for tomorrow is Say Something Nice Day! Kindness is what helps the world go round, so in honor of tomorrow’s holiday here are five of the best compliments from movies:
Feel free to use those when you’re slinging out compliments tomorrow. Plus saying nice things to people causes good things to come back to you. Comment below by 12:00 pm ET on June 7, 2019 and give a shout out to someone on the Community who’s done something nice for you recently and we will select three winners at random who will receive a $25 Public Mobile account credit + $25 to the person they shouted out. Let the compliment extravaganza begin! Contest runs May 31 to June 7, 2019. Read Contest Rules before entering.

Jeez people. If you're gonna put your name in a raffle, at least keep an eye out for that winning contact from them.
I say if a winner can't be bothered to reply in 24 hours...move on...choose another entry.
Personally, if I didn't win anyway, it doesn't make a difference to me if the announcement of the eventual winners comes a day or a month later.
My motto: It's okay to enter free competitions but just don't expect to win and you'll never be be disappointed 🙂 To date it's been poolproof:)

There isn't any truth to that. People transfer numbers from Koodo to Public, Virgin to Lucky, Chatr to Rogers, etc. all the time.

Pubkic providers no nothing but here's your sim and prepaid that's it, I have a simple task I moved and want my number to stay the same but make it so customers call me local not long distance... This is frustrating I can't lose the number I have alot of money invested in my logo and phone number including car wraps, clothing flyers magnets signs I'm so pissed....
What you are requesting is impossible with only 1 number UNLESS you purchase 800 service for your business. ANY number is only local for callers within its calling zone.

I would just like to thank everyone here in the community for making it so easy for me since I came here in Dec.with a big shoutout to @computergeek541 for all your knowledgeable comments and solutions

@rbattle62Sorry to hear your troubles.. but as a busines person and knowing there is no stores.. why did you pick Public in the first place?! As a business, cell phone costs is the easiest thing to write off. I just played with the "Build my plan" system.. and can't find $100 plan with Public? Are you with the right provider, ie not Telus etc?

@6500K concur. Almost everything I learned in the early days was from @Luddite (and our dear departed friend Martin, still miss him!).

I am an IT guy who has always loved open source solutions. I also like to search for answers on the Internet and find there is almost always someone else who has had the same problem, found a solution and posted it.
I was particularly impressed with how easy it is to change our phone numbers with Public Mobile. That is awesome as we are moving to a new community next week and that was one of my burning questions.
Thanks again to everyone who participates in supporting the community and each other.
Bravo.
