Wasn't planning on a super expensive system, but figured if I could save $100 a month that I could get something decent for $1000ish plus tax.
BIG OUCH! How so unfortunate. Hope you get through this with your sanity in check.

Actually, you do not need to have a plan to be here in the community. 😉

My resolution is to to get more excercise. Doing it daily and building up the time commitment would achieve results.

Like others here, have not made any new New Year's resolutions for many years since my old resolutions are still 'a work in progress', especially being able to, one day, resolve the Rubik's cube! 🙂
However, good luck to everyone who has made a New Year's resolution though:)

I start my resolutions on Halloween so by the time it's New Years, I can say I'm done. Plus, it's nice not having to go to the gym overcrowd with people who actually do have New Years Resolutions.

I resolved to keep doing something that I'm already doing, and upping it. That way my resolution is reasonably easy to keep, and I get an improvement out of it.

@smp99 make the switch now, get on board now so you can reap the rewards of the auto pay and loyalty plan and since there are no contracts, you can switch the plan in a snap of your fingers...oh hang on, if you are in the community, that means you already have a plan with PM....d-oh!

I've made a few resolutions and I am keeping to most of them! I am now journaling daily, and that makes me accountable to my goals. Journaling is one of my resolutions! lol!

This year I wanted to be more consistent in going to the gym, although life can sometimes get busy.
I have always been fit but I would like to take it a step further by keeping up with consistency.
It all goes back to staying disciplined and that is true for any and all New Years resolutions.
Good luck and stay focused everyone!

For my resolution I would like to save some money so i can travel somewhere in the world.
Pour ma résolution j'aimerais économiser de l'argent pour voyager quelque part dans le monde.

My new year resolution is to be a better person. I plan to do this by not sweating the small stuff and letting negativity roll off and not being consumed in bad behavior. Here's to hoping I'll be able to stick to that and not fall back into that bad trap!

@darlicious wrote:@Fluidmax Good on You! I can relate to looking in the mirror and not being happy with the reflection. My moment came in the change room at the pool as I walking towards the pool entrance and passed by a row of sinks with mirrors. I commented to myself that pregnant lady looks familiar....oh wait that's me! My motivation started there and then. I had to wait about 14 months to put it into practice (there was a THR surgery and recovery first.) But the moment I was approved to get back on my bike I jumped on it!
You can only change if you truly want to because nothing worth having come easy.
btw...Don't sweat the small things
Agreed....darlicious.
Inspiration can come in many ways...as long as you have the conviction and enough determination, you can do it. I am glad to hear your story, very inspirational.

I'm letting my hear grow out for 2020. Been buzzing it for so long I decided it's time to let it grow and attempt to tame it.

I don't like making resolutions because they are portayed as something that's meant to be broken.
Instead I make mini, daily goals. Just taking it one day at a time. It's easier to remain accountable, and you don't feel as guilty for having an off day, just need to try again tomorrow.

Spend more quality family time together. Keep it by setting boundaries on electronics use and working together to find creative and fun things to do.

Worry less, be happy.

I gave up alcohol this year. It has adverse health effects for me and I have been cutting back for years, this year though I decided to go all the way and ditch it completely.

Public Mobile's Team is assuming we make resolutions in the first place. Not everybody beleives in making resolutions in the first place or have simple have previously given up on making them. I have not made one in year. Why bother making false promises to yourself or others when you can try to be the best version of yourself. If you do make them probably best to keep them by "Believe in yourself. Dream. Try. Do good."

Agree 100%!!!

I am a 5'1" 44 yr old girl who now weighs 160lbs! Being overweight has really got me depressed. I am currently in college trying to better myself but the weight gets me down. My new yeaes resolution is/was to lose weight but I kept slipping up. I just started a keto diet on the 22nd and have lost 10 lbs so far, mainly water weight but it's a start. My goal is to be 130 lbs by June. I'm currently eating healthy and clean. I'll eventually treat myself but haven't felt comfortable doing so yet. If I win a $50 Amazon card, I'm definitely going to treat myself and get a nice dress because last summer I didn't feel comfortable enough to wear one, however this year I'm hoping to change that. Wish me luck....I'm going to need it! Lol 😂🎉💪

@drewber83 Just eat more of this.....
01-28-2020 06:10 AM
I made a resolution to eat better and it hasn't been the best start so far but maybe some Amazon money might help me get some better food to eat or a scale to weigh in on at least 😂
01-28-2020 04:19 AM
I don't make New Year's resolutions anymore but I am going to try to relax and calm down more, especially at work!
01-28-2020 04:14 AM
Mine has been to hug my kids more and to keep it I make sure at least 2 times a day I greet them with a hug! And so far it's been an easy resolution to keep ....i.am happy to say!!

@AL89 wrote:My New Year's Resolution is to not eat chips when I'm at home because chips is my guilty pleasure. In order to keep my resolution, I don't buy chips and don't eat chips that my partner buys.
@AL89 Oooooooh! I love chips too. Yes you have to keep them out of the house. Your partner better have a secret vault. I remember spying my favourite kind poorly hidden by my partner the first day home from surgery as i slowly inched my way upstairs on my crutches. Ill tell you....3 am I donned a knapsack and my crutches and very slowly and painfully made it all the way downstairs. I safely stowed the bag of chips in the knapsack and about an hour later I was happily sharing a bag of lays wth my cat. By sunrise there was nary a chip crumb left....the evidence safely disposed .

@jmqm wrote:Stop wasting money
1. Don't buy unhealthy/convenient foods
2. Don't order stuff online that's unnecessary
3. Eat at home instead of outside
@jmqm I absolutely agree with 1. and 2. but number 3......" Outside bacon tastes better than inside bacon." Theres nothing wrong with eating in the great outdoors especially a picnic after a hike to a scenic viewpoint. Avoiding take out and restaurant meals will go a long way towards not wasting money....but food tastes so much better outside don't give up that one!
