I just saw that Public Mobile updated their app pretty substantially, at least for Android it just updated for me. It looks a lot better to me, here's hoping the glitches and things that were happening are also eliminated with this update!
Is there any issue putting a 5G plan on a phone that doesn't actually have 5G capability? Don't care about actually being able to connect to 5G obviously, just want the phone to work on the network

Just activated and my anxiety made me send a support message a bit sooner than I should have when I didn't have service, 5 minutes later I did lol so my problem is fixed. Not sure if there's any way to let them know I don't need help anymore?
