New to the PM Community

Scott74Renn

Hello Everyone!

I am new to the community, actually just finished setting up my account (this new -> telephone number porting still in progress, just got the confirmation text a few minutes ago). Thought I would say hello.

I am from the maritime provinces and like to be helpfum when I can. I enjoy researching solutions as well. I may find I spend a fair bit of time in the community as I am on a disability pension and have more spare time than some. Or I may decide to spend more time on an old hobby I used to do, novice photography...here is one of my favourites.

Cheers!

@dabr  Thanks for the compliment and for the advice!

I plan on checking the community pages on a regular daily basis. I have the announcements channel set for RSS feed directly into a folder in my outlook already.

@Scott74Renn    Welcome to the Community 😊

It's a good idea to read the community pages once or twice a week just to keep informed about changes or issues with the service even if you don't want to participate in the forum.

And yes you can always learn something new around here as I just did today, lol!

BTW, nice photo..

@Dunkman

Thanks for the compliment, and for the link. I have looked through some of them while researching my decision to switch to PM, but I am sure there is much more to look at and familiarize myself with. Especially if I want to help others, I want to be sure I am giving information as accurately as I can.

@hairbag1 Well, my photography suggestions may not be the best, when I said amateur, I definitely meant amateur...have never taken a course, just look through the viewfinder and if I like what I see, snap a pic...lol

@Scott74Renn

Nice photograph. Welcome to the community.

If interested in participating in the community, a good starting point to gain some useful knowledge is the help articles:

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/ab/get-help/articles

Then you can slowly help others on the community.

@Scott74Renn

amateur photographer, huh.....you may be able to provide suggestions to our good friend  @maximum_gato   😎

BTW...welcome to the Community Forum de Public Mobile.

Hi @hTideGnow ,

Thanks! Interestingly enough, I used to work as a sales rep selling cell phones and packages back when the bricks and phones in bags were around and the Motorola Flip (original) was still fairly new technology.
