You know, Canadians pay possibly the Highest rates in regards to Data, and it's now becoming apparent that no relief is yet insight. Unless the CRTC/CCTS can get Tougher, Canadians may find it hard, Perhaps Impossible to have Carrier service. Telus/PM could lead the way. What would be considered a Fair Rate to pay? It'd be awesome for PM to partner with a password manager such as 1Password (a company also from Toronto) by recommending the service in email or online web page to assist with both strengthening personal account security and avoiding forgotten credentials. ... Ok, so here is something very strange on found on this site.    I find often I type faster than I should, an quite often I am making mistakes. On every forum site I have been on, my MacBook will either correct any errors or at least underline.    This seems absent from this site, with the exception, for some reason, in a subject line. (I actually tried to misspell something, and it alerted me of the issues, either by underlining error or autocorrected to predictive proper word)   I frequent some other sites like redflagdeal, dslreports, etc, but so far this is the only site that I am aware of that seems to have this issue.    Just a thought to see if that can be corrected, if someone hasn't mentioned it already.  ... Hi PM, noticed while playing around on the main website and from a few questions from posters regarding about the confusion of pricing of plans that if you are selecting two options (talk/text, text/data or talk/data) for a plan the discount isnt automatically applied. If you select three options (talk/text/data) the discount does work.   For whatever reason the single discount doesnt get applied and then new  customers come into the forums for clarification because of the confusion.      ... My plan is 6GB for 90days and the data limit is being renewed on different days.  There is no information when the old cycle is finished and when the new will began.  I always receive from PM two messages about the incoming payment and confirmation of payment.  Nether of one contains information about the ending and starting cycle.  My phone has a setup from Jul 10th to August 9th and this time my data on my PM account was reset between 7th and 8th of August.  This is all messing up the set up on my phone and I am unable to see when I can use my data on the phone from the new limit.  Is it possible to receive a message regarding when the new cycle starts?  I can’t allow myself to go over the limits of the old data. ... Hello Public Mobile!   I am moving provinces permanently, have a province wide calling plan, and need to change my phone number. I have very little knowledge in telecommunications, but is it not possible to set a users home province or town, as it applies to long distance calling, via an account rather than a phone number? I can get over having to remember another number, but what about people who then try to contact me via my previous number? What if there is the possibility for a message, or call forwarding system to the new number? Dear Telus ! In order to mantain mental health of your custumers you should just transfer all of us on Telus same as you transfer us here from nice Public Mobile network that had better plans, retail stores, customer service and so on . My fellas Canadians will for sure agree with me. The only issue is country that we live in. Canada that allows big three to play monopoly and rip Canadians with biggest cellphone bills in whole world. Having a desperate customers trying to solve your glitches and network issues, and not be able to reach customer service even by chat  online is just sad to watch. God i have non idea what to write here,as my text on this site is like messsage on the wall is some restaurant washroom that no one pays attention to. Im trying to make a youtube channel and one day get to television to show canadian people that is cheaper to get plans in states and use them inside Canada then paying for this local ones to big three. As mention in another threat if Public Mobile is to make a retail launch it should be with a company the supports their orgianal concept of a no frills cell phone cell phone provider, so it they enter into retial it would be more approate to go with a company like No Frills. Base on CRTC Public Mobile when being purchase by Telus was partly to deal with being own, operated and branded as a Canadian company. The should attempt to keep or increase their Canadian brand by having any retail launch be associated with a Candain Company such as one owned by Loblaws or with their parent or sister ograntations Telus or Koodo. With the parent or sister organatation might be involve more or better service and help and might be a transition into being megred with one of these organations which might be the end game of Telus owning Public Mobile as it was when purchased organized as a test or beta of the market. Which might be the case but I like most appose as I beleive Public Mobile should be their low end provider with Koodo and Telus servicing the middle and high-end markets which has been proven successful for several companies with in Canada. Including Chatr, Fido and Rogers Virgin Mobile and Bell and No Frill, SuperStore and Loblaws.
