@Acekiller agreed. I don't see the need for anything between 30 and 90, though I guess if another term were offered, 60 days might make more sense. 30/60/90 plans with x/2x/3x data options with slightly lower cost/30days as you move up the durations. But I sitll think it's not really necessary. Those uncomfortable with longer term commitments or larger lump payments are served well by the 30 day plan, and those looking for a lower cost at the expense of a longer duration with more risk are served well by the 90 day plans.
@srlawren I still am not sure why they bother changing dates because yes it does mess up people Many prepay carriers can still have a bill date where they pay Aug 10, Sep 10, Oct 10, Nov 10
@kav2001c I'm not sure if you're joking about the 365 day plans or not. It's actually kind of a neat idea but has a few huge drawbacks that would probably limit the popularity:
1) large up-front cost. Even assuming the awesome 2016 Fall Promo pricing of $120/90, you're looking at $486.67 for a year (120/90*365). That's probably on the low end since the current plans are much more expensive.
2) this looks a lot like a 1 year post-paid contract but without any hardware subsitdy incentives, ability to change plans without forfeitting remaining value, or smaller payment installments (see point 1).
3) if you ever wanted to port out or cancel [maybe you're moving out of country; maybe your employer is giving you a paid phone and you no longer need a personal one; maybe someone is running an awesome promo plan you just have to have; etc] you'd be giving up somewhere between 1 and 364 days worth of $ rather than the current 1-29 or 1-89 days with today's plan lengths
