I have a POCO X4 and it works fine. As long as it's the Global version it will cover all the popular North American bands.

Yes it works

As long as phone supports PM's frequencies/bands it should work.
Ideally, if you can borrow PM's SIM from somebody else and stick it into phone, that is the best test and confirmation.

@mudmama What exact model number? that would help to determine if the phone is international version or India variant.
Here are the 3G and 4G bands on this phone:
3G bands | International and India: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100 |
4G bands | International: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41 - |
India: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, 41 - |
the BOLD bands above are the compatible ones
Overall both international and India variant will work. No difference on Voice for both versions, BUT for Mobile Data, India variant might not work well and might not connect in some area.
Any phone you are considering should ideally have 3G B2, B5 and LTE B4 (or B66 instead of B4), B12 (or B17 instead of B12) for minimum coverage. (So, the International version meets the minimum requirement but not the India variant )
