The AMBR has been applied symmetrically in the past, I assume it's still the case.
That means on 5G speed plans, DL and UL are independently limited to 250 Mbps. DL can reach that number, but UL won't go past ~145 Mbps based on today's spectrum.
@abarouni2023 This is in no way anything official but from my speedtest history I got upload speeds of 22.6, 25.9, 20.8, and 27 Mbps. The phone is on 5G auto so most of the time it's on LTE, only one of those quoted was at 5G (download was 246 Mbps that time FWIW). I don't have access to all the tests I've done because I don't have an Ookla account and anyway once I realized how much data is used in speedtesting I largely stopped doing it!
@abarouni2023 , the official help article does not really cover an official upload speed. From what I can tell, upload speed is very asymmetric, sort of like cable internet. I usually get 10ish mbits/s. I don't really do pure downloads or uploads on the phone so it does not really matter much.
