@Metal1967- It's a very condensed version of the excellent detailed post from softech.
Adding -@ivcapivca - You absolutely have to resume or pay again before the 90 days. Otherwise you will kill the sim and lose your number and any rewards or points.

how long is this suspending going to work ? do I have to activate it withing 90days too?

Lost/stolen is a function in the account to suspend the account yourself.

@ivcapivca it's an option under Quick Link on the top right after you login to My Account. This will manually suspend the account

@Metal1967- Why the grimace? Pay. 30 days of paid service. It suspends. 90 days of suspension. Equals 120 days. Pay every 115 days.

@ivcapivca If you change the plan on renewal date but at the same time, disable pre-Authorized payments, you will be good.
If you have some rewards and Available Fund, it is actually better to disable the account manually using Lost/Stolen on the day before you leave

Thank you softech, that is what I was thinking too...
there are 2 options for changing the plan....change the plan now, or change the plan on renewal date. If I will choose the renewal date, payment will not go through, is it gonna be valid?

PM only allows the account to be suspended for 90 days or your account will be permanently closed and you will loss the number
So, your option is to temporary suspend the account and reactivate for 30 days before the 90 days deadline
Here is what you can do (assuming your Available fund = $0)

1. Stop paying and make new account when you need it again.
2. Pay every 115 days to keep the account alive.
Adding - oh of course - 3. keep paying every 30 days

@ivcapivca hi as for suspending your service it can only be done for 90 days and then account is closed permanently after about 85 days you would need to make a payment on the lowest plan that will get you to six months

@ivcapivca After 90 days service is gone .. downgrade plan.. .. use lost stolen.. remember the 90 day thing…..
