switching from bell mobility to public

I activated my new sim card in my new phone and I have a Public mobile account. However calls are coming in on my old Bell phone and I want to use the new phone. I asked Bell and they said that Public Mobile has to call them and ask to have my service transferred.

during the activation process, you were given opportunity to port old number in to your new PM account. Bell would have sent you an SMS that you had to reply YES within 90 mins...did that all happen ? Here's a link to some reading to help....
