need to change my email address but cannot log in to do it

I have an account under an email address that no longer exists. I need to update it but i cannot log in to do so as the verification codes are being sent to the deactivated email address. CATCH 22

what is catch22?
but why can't you receive the code via SMS or voicemail?

The problem is I don't know the password for the old email acocunt and since I can't access that email addres for any verification this is catch 22

You still login with the old email ID and password. The 2FA code will be sent by text or call to access your account.
Once you are in your account. Go to Account tab>Manage Login (Secured by EverSafe) then click on the pencil icon and change.

the 2FA code should be set to send to the phone via sms. Or you can choose Didn't receive code and ask it to send to Voicemail as well if you know the voicemail password (you can retrieve the voicemail from another phone)
