I am a long time user of Public Mobile and while helping a relative change over to public mobile I encountered a frustrating failure to transfer their existing phone to the new Public Mobile account due to the user interface being unable to recognize their address as it is defined on their existing phone account. There is no option to override to resolve issue. Attempted using Phone app and web interface.
I am looking for Admin assistance to resolve
Thanks!

This is normal. Just pick the nearest city where you are located and enter the postal code of your address. PM will pin point your location by the postal code.

I am assuming that you are having difficulties setting up a new account. For porting over from another mobile company, customers do not need to provide an address. Just need the account number, phone number and account holder name of the previous carrier.
The website is finicky. You could try a different web browser, clear cache or incognito mode. Or try a different device.
If still having issues, then you will need to contact customer service agent:

Thanks for your advice, unfortunately the software does not recognize the small country village of Englishtown NS and to make matters more challenging to the data entry filters, the existing Bell account has their PO box in Englishtown as the account billing address.

This happened to me when signing up for public. It may be due to the “city” part of the address. For example, if you live in the borders of a big city, but the area you live in has it’s own name, you may have to ensure the larger city name is the one filled in for the “city” portion of the address. Or vice versa. Also, if that does work, you have to ensure that the address of the payment card matches that of your home address on your account. That’s what worked for me, hope that helps.
