Hello, I set up my wife's public mobile account with my referral code, Porting number successful and she is now a Public mobile member.

When do I get notified of my reward for the referral and when does she get the $10 applied to her account as a new member? Her account was activated June 11th, almost a week.

Then your wife need to contact CSA to have this issue addressed.  She needs to give your referral code to the CSA.

it has been over 72 hours and since you don't see it on both sides, ask your wife to open ticket with pm cs agent

 

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

 

  1. first Type: My rewards are missing,
  2. then Click on "Public Points"
  3. then select on "Refer A friend",
  4. cli ck on "Yes, I'm the referred customer',
  5. finally click  "Click here to submit a ticket" .
    you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

Once ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

 

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

this is the chatbot's reply..

"All earned Rewards are applied to your account on your plan renewal date, before your payment is processed. There are a few exceptions though."

If you see this kind of message on your account, that means referral code has been properly applied (last 4 digits of your wife's account). As for the rewards, they should appear within 72 hours. Since it is 6 days since she signed up, contact agent for clarification.

@nathanlouie hi have you looked in her self serve account the 10 dollars should be there within 72 hours your 1 dollar should also show in your reward section if not

Your wife should have gotten the $10 credit in her available fund within 72 hours.  You should have also gotten a text stated that you gained a friend and you should see her phone number in your friend rewards section.  

 

If that has not happened, then your wife should contact customer service agent to check things out.  

You will need to contact customer service agent (CSA):

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/chatbot.  Follow the prompts to submit ticket.
