No provider (regardless of tier) can locate your phone for you. But there are apps/options you see above if you turned these on and the phone has data/internet and hasn't been shut off (it will at the very least tell you the last place it was before going off the grid)

That sucks! Use the suggestions above to get the last known location of your phone before you suspended your service.
Do you have a screen lock on your phone? Does the last text message show on your screen if it remains unread or isn't swiped away?
If so I suggest you compose a short text message to send from another device you have access to (friend or family member?) and send a text along the lines of "Found my phone? Reward $$ >>(123)456-7890". You will have to briefly resume service for your phone to receive the text message and then suspend service again. This will possibly give you an updated location as well.
If you get a response just act very grateful and arrange a meeting with back up and possibly law enforcement(?) to get your phone back. A good Samaritan will refuse a reward or accept a small one. A guilty party will want the street value of the phone. You decide your course of action with an abundance of caution, the importance of recovering your phone and the info it contains. But there is nothing illegal about stealing your stolen property back.

How did your suspend the line ? I'd suggest you log in to your account and remove credit card and disable Autopay.
Then log in to your account / Plan and Add-ons.. find Lost / Stolen....select Suspend.

You need to Google how to find your iPhone or Android phone. Hopefully you have this set up on your devices.
