not receiving texts after transferring number

Good Morning, 

I transferred from bell yesterday and now am not getting texts from anyone but my kid who is on public network. I'm getting error codes when trying to put in a ticket. Did I make the wrong choice coming to Public this is ridiculous to get a hold of someone for help

Customers should almost never contact the previous provider.  it's the new provider that needs to provide all support for porting related issues.

just text? do you know if inbound voice works?
