Try one or more of the below:
*removing your SIM, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings on your device
*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.
*manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) for dropping or unable to make incoming/outgoing calls

@gaw1 did you login to My Account and check the account status?
when you dial *611, what yo got?
You tried reboot your phone? Any chance you have another phone around you can put your PM SIM to test just to confirm it is not a device issue?

Can you log in into your PM account?
Did you accidentally suspended your service?
If your account is paid try to resume service - Select Resume/Reactivate Service
Or it could be that cell network has issues in our area.

@gaw1 When you log into your account. Is the status active or suspended?
You partially wrote "I may have clicked on a bu"...I assume you meant button. What did you possibly click? Something on your account or on your phone? If it's phone maybe you clicked airplane mode??
Does anything work?
What kind of phone do you have?
