Activated SIM yesterday - phone calls and data working good. APN verified. BUT no SMS Texting possible.
Please look into this urgently as I receive texts from business clients on this number.

If that does not work, then you should contact customer service agent (PM employee) to check your account setup/provision.

I only need to get basic Texting working as I receive my home business client requests on it... This is a bit of nightmare, as I never expected BASIC TEXTING to not work... I have a tablet here that can take sims, I will try it on that...

Older Android phone. Might have issues with MMS (picture) texts with PM, but SMS texts should be fine. Are you using RCS chat Messaging?
If you have another working phone, it might be a good idea to try the SIM card in another phone. This will help determine whether the texting issue is a hardware versus PM service issue.

I'm using Android Mi Max3 - tried REBOOTING NETWORK settings and restarting, but there is no change - TEXTS still not being received or sent.
The phone has been factory reset a few days ago in preparation for the new service. APN settings are correct and were picked up automatically. Data and Voice calls work great. Just TEXTING is not working.

just 2FA text or all texts from friends as well?
Make sure you remove the old carrier sim sim card if still there. If old one is eSIM, disable or delete it
and if iMessage, remove the phone number and reboot and register iMessage after

Which model phone are you using? Apple with iMessage?
Try rebooting the phone (if not tried already). Then a network reset of phone. Note this will erase your saved Wifi passwords, etc.
