new email notifications on lock screen

I just switched to PM. I'm not receiving notifications for new email messages (Gmail or Outlook) on my lock screen while using data. The emails arrive but I'm not notified.

All of my notification features seem to be turned on. I'm using a Motorola phone.

I always receive new email notifications (for Gmail or Outlook) on my lock screen when I'm using WiFi at home or the office.

I can send emails using data. I sent emails to friends who use Gmail and have Motorola and iPhones on a different network. They get instant notifications on their lock screens for new email messages.

Any suggestions?

It seems strange that notifications for new email messages (Gmail and Outlook) appear instantly on the lock screen while I'm using WiFi but not while I'm using PM data, even after I checked if data was on, checked if notifications are on, then reinstalled the apps and even restarted the phone.

the notification settings is a phone problem and has nothing to do with PM's

Make sure mobile data is turned on and you are getting email 

and you can also disable the notification for those app, reboot and reenable
