Hi I currently have a Blackview A55 which I believe does 4G, will this new 5G plan work on the phone, and default to 4G speeds? thanks
I'm also thinking of buying an iphone se 2020

Plan speed is just just marketing and deliberate throttling. The 4G network is capable of speeds much greater than 100Mbps, so you'll still benefit with a 4G phone on a 5G plan.

Yes, the Blackview will work with the 5G plan. It will default to 3G or 4G/LTE depending on the signal strength.
Please note that the iPhone SE 2020 will be 4G/LTE but if you get the iPhone SE 2022 will have 5G.

As stated below. However I'd suggest looking at the iPhone SE 3 instead as it's 5G phone. I was just in the US and the guy said that if I purchase the iPhone SE 3 for $180USD and was seriously considering it. However with BF around the corner, iPhone 14 Pro Max is on my list.

Yes, your phone will work with 5G plan, even though 4G phone. You should be able to get up to 250 Mbps data speeds though with the 5G plan.

Hi @publicuser1234
Yes, it will work on 4G phone. Unfortunately, iPhone SE 2020 does not support 5G.
