@shantia_0 Your sim is fine is my guess I have iPhone 16 pro max . And even with 5G phone on 5G plan my phone will drip to 3G at times is my point nothing to worry about it still works fine and I’m able to use phone as I normally do and reply here to you now

HI @shantia_0
won't be a sim issue or you wont be able to connect at all. As said, likely a network issue in the area but you can try your sim in another phone if possible
or if you like, submit a ticket with PM support and ask them to refresh your account
submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

@shantia_0 Might be environment does it stay on LTE outside and only drop to 3G in the basement try it upstairs see if you get better signal . When I’m inn my basement I get 3G instead of 5G sometimes but phone still works se in my screen shot , nothing to worry about it’s normal to automatically pick and choose the best connection on its own

HI @shantia_0
possibly a network problem in your area
But try to Reset Network Settings on your phone and check if it helps. Or try in another area if possible
and I checked Telus Outage page, I don't see any area with celluar issue:
