In Mexico right now. Got the Canada us and Mexico plan. Phone works fine. No issue.

we still don't see roaming addon in Mexico yet.  So, if you need to get connected in Mexico, getting the Canada-US-Mexico plans is the only way

Public Mobile doesn't work in Mexico. However you can purchase a eSIM though https://www.airalo.com/mexico-esim and then download an app like TextNow and pick a local number to where you live. This way you can have folks back home call you still and you can call back if needed. I have it and works well. With TextNow you can talk and text for free.

PM has no roaming in Mexico. So, local data sim card or Travel eSIM (like Airalo) are you only choices 

and download VoIP app like Fongo to make and receive calls

@Pat003  Sorry you can’t PM dosent support roaming in Mexico just the USA . Best to get local pre paid sim card in Mexico . Can try what’s app or text now if you have wifi thou in your destination it’s free to use
