In city of Markham, I got my SIM card from Telus booth in Markville Mall.

@stranded_sailor  Yes absolutely download on friend phone activate . Then delete the app off there phone and you can then manage your account on the website from there on out

So my device won't actually download the app. Can I put the app on someone else's phone to finish and put Sim in my device to use?

Remember that once you get the SIM Card you must activate your service using the Public Mobile app on your device. Good luck and I hope PM works out for you 🙂

Thank you I'm going to go the Amazon route cause there really is no place within several hours drive to buy one

The only places you'll be able to Physically walk into a store to buy a Public Mobile SIM Card would be a Telus Corporate Store, or any Mobile Klinik. (Telus 4L/Dealers & Koodo Locations will not have SIM Cards so make sure to call and see if your closest Telus is a Corporate store or a dealer store before you go in, because dealer stores will not carry them.)

In my city (Winnipeg), we only have 3 Corporate Telus locations that carry Public Mobile SIM Cards, every Mobile Klinik also has them but no other dealers like Koodo Locations have had them since May when the change to EverSafe ID was made, all the dealer stores were removed as 'Authorized' for final. 

(You can still find Public Mobile Vouchers at any 7-Eleven, but no Public Mobile SIM Cards there either. The Telus Corporate stores also have vohchers, not sure about Mobile Klinik.)

The Amazon sale is the best deal running right now, with fast delivery which many have provided the link Directly to. 

However you can also buy one Directly from your Public Mobile Account using either Available Funds or the registered Credit Card on your Account using the link below. (Delivery takes around 1 week sometimes longer.)

If you want to pick it up locally it's about $10. But make sure you call ahead first so you're not wasting gas and your time.
