Ya there have been a lot of reports that the credit card system isn't running as smooth as it should. If you're in a bind and need to get up faster, you can purchase a voucher at Shoppers Drug Mart then dial 611 to upload it. Then you can reach a CS Agent via the Chatbot. They can update the card for you.
To submit a ticket, start with the chatbot with the following link:

There has been many issues with payment. Just wait a day and try again
or get voucher from Shoppers drug Mart and load using *611
if you want agent to check, please submit a ticket with CS Agent here using Chatbot. Click on the bubble and start by typing "Submit ticket", Choose "Contact Us" and then "Other". If any issue with ticket submission, you can then submit by direct message:

@bonzo2 There’s been many issues with folks trying to update credit card . Best if you can wait 24 hours and try again incognito private mode or from a different device or even the app is you haven’t already tried that . But if in a hurry you can buy payment vouchers from 7-11 shoppers shell has or for a fee recharge.com and load them *611 to resume services right away . If allelse fails submit ticket with support . using the chat bubble bottom right of screen
If that doesn’t work you can always send private message to support to fix
