wanted a second number on my phone.....want to port my home phone.
I bought esim on my account and added to phone and tried to port home number all while haveing orginal cell plan. Then learned that i had to create second account for second number. Deleted old esim and created second account and bought plan with an esim. its now telling me i have a failure and that it is unable to acitvate esim, plus i sent in request to port my home phone number to my first esim purchase on my orginal phone number which i dont want to get rid of. What are the steps i need to take please

In addition to above have you called your provider of your home # and cancelled the port request? If the port completes and your original mobile phone # came from a non telus provider you will lose that phone #....if not already?
Luckily it seems you requested porting of your home number on the weekend (rather than a M-F business day) which delays port requests. Generally home phone port requests can take up to 2 business days to complete.
It's best to activate an account with a temporary number so that account login can be completed with the secondary 6 digit verification code that is sent via text message only. Once login to the new account is achieved then you can submit the port request (preferably M-F) by using the change number feature in your account profile.
Hopefully customer support has been able to sort out this mess for you with only your time lost.

@superfrustrated Best thing is to contact a customer support agent and see what can be done. Send a private message using this link and then watch for a reply, either at the envelope icon top right or click on your avatar and select "Messages"

once you delete the esim...now you need to buy either a new esim or a new hard sim. You'll also need a separate sim for the new line.
