eSIM won’t transfer

Donnaz

2 major problems

1- I bought a new iPhone and Esim won’t transfer over so I cannot use my new phone, I am on vacation in the US and it’s not working, even the Apple rep couldn’t get it to transfer.

2- my husband signed up to Public Mobile at the same time as I did and once we entered the US, his phone no longer worked. He cannot log into the Public App as it tries to text him a code and his texting is no longer working since crossing the border. We paid for the Canada /US package for both our phones. He also bought a new iPhone and it still doesn’t work, his number is 250-xxx-xxx, Dan xxxxxxx

Data worked after crossing border, texting and phoning stopped working as I crossed. Now nothing works with new phone.

How do I buy another esim as it says I already have a subscription? Is there anyway to get a response from public?

For 2 do you have roaming turned on and is the phone connecting to T-Mobile or AT&T?  Does anything work at all?

@Donnaz

It might be more trickier with you being in the United States traveling to switch eSIM. You should still be able to receive SMS texts with our without US roaming package.

You will need to download PM mobile app on your new phone.  Login to your account and purchase a new eSIM for the new phone.

As for your husband phone and US roaming not working, maybe try rebooting your phone.  Manually select T mobile as carrier.  If that does not work, then choose AT&T.

When his phone starts working, then you will need to purchase a new eSIM ono his new phone.

@Donnaz

if you bought a new iphone, your old esim will not work in the new phone. You'll need to buy a new esim or buy a new hard sim.
