my detailed data usage history in my self serve account on the PM website only adds to 6.398mb but on my overview, data useage reads 23.058 mb and is steadily rising. Why the discrepancy? I'm not looking at my phone data use! I've only been with PM 2 days.

thanks i'll try and track/reign in app useage on my phone. I'll also monitor the PM site report to make sure it starts to make sense.

The way I found to get the data usage to update in selfserve was to enable airplane mode or turn off the phone, then refresh the overview page - it will update immediately as it "ends" the current data session. you will often even see the usage go backwards by up to ~5MB while airplane mode is on as it seems to add a buffer while data is active. It might then show a more recent data usage event in the usage history as well.

@cbbxxxx I have an iPhone se even with wifi assist. Off, data saver, I’m like you still see my data dropping for no reason when I’m using wifi. So I keep it off. Use it when I need it. When out and about. That way I’m 4 weeks I’ve used about 400mb.

As per @Anonymous suggestion enable your data saver, set your data tracker, turn off WiFi assist (iphone) and go thru each apps data usage and turn off the background data on 95% of them.

@cbbxxxx Some could be fake data usage that resets over time. There's a small amount that gets added and subtracted from the total regularly.

The front counter is a pretty live counter. The details are delayed like 12 hours or something.
Turn off your data and rope in your OS and apps.

Your question is a bit confusing.
Are you saying the data use shows on your account 23mb but the website info only shows 6mb?
There might be a lag between the data showing used and what has actually been used?
No idea.
