hi. i recently upgraded my plan to 40 gb data at 4G with unlimited minutes. i'm showing 4 bars but it isn't showing 4G. the cellular voice and data under settings only shows a choice of LT or 3g.
also, i wasn't able to use data even though i have 39 gb remaining. is there a setting on my iphone 8 plus that needs attention?
before i was able to check my account i bought a 3gb add-on thinking the problem was no data left but don't need the add-on now. can i get a refund on that?

@bwd If you want to try for a refund on the unnecessary add on, submit a ticket with customer service at the chat icon bottom right of this page.

@bwd Are you doing this in a Wi-Fi environment? If so, your phone will default to Wi-Fi and not access your mobile data. If you turn off your Wi-Fi, you should see "LTE" beside your phone signal at the top of your telephone screen and your phone will use the mobile data. Good luck.

@bwd choose LTE, LTE is 4G
if it does not work still, click Reset Network Settings
