Can I receive international (US) calls without an international add-on? If so, am I charged for them?
thanks!

@ShawnC13 oficially you are not supposed recievede calls but there seems to be a bug so yes currently you can recieve calls outside your home provice without using your long distance minutes. it was confirmed by several people the other day.

When it comes to billing for a customer receiving a call, the location of the phone number calling you isn't even a factor. It never makes any difference.

I have Canada Wide calling so this is what I understand.
Make and receive calls from any province, while in any province.
Receive international calls while in any province.
Hope I got that right.
Correct, for Canada Wide plans.

If you have a calling plan, then assuming you are in your home province or Cda if on Cda wide plan, then all calls received are included with your plan.

@basicbill it depends on your plan. If your plan includes Province-wide talk then yes you can receive calls from anywhere, but only while within your home province; while outside of your home province, receiving any calls would require long distance add-on minutes. If your plan includes either Canada-wide talk or Canada+US-wide talk, you can recieve calls from any country while you are anywhere within Canada.

No, you won't get charged and you can receive calls from everywhere in the world. You don't get charged for incoming calls nor outgoing... your service is a prepaid. No charge at all... just need to keep your account active and everything is ok.

Yes, you can receive any international calls as long as you are within your province (or you'll need an add-on for roaming outside your province)
