You need to do the following:
1- Purchase a PM SIM
2- Leave the old SIM in your phone
3- Activate your SIM on your PC or laptop.
4- Reply to the text from the old carrier with YES confirming you are porting over to PM within 90 minute window
5- Your old SIM will continue to work until the porting is completed
6- Power off the phone when the old SIM stops working and swap the SIM
7- Power your phone back on

@harrystdenis do you need to get a new phone number or port in from another provider?
buy a new PM sim card from Telus or Koodo store first, then you can just activate at the activation site
and you have any trouble activating? let us know

@harrystdenis If you have pm SIM card in hand go to pm main page and go to activate from drop down menu and follow prompts and the email and pass you use will create your account upon activation

get a new sim, have credit card handy...then top of this page click Activate.
