after only paying a dollar more a month for more data, realize that was a poor choice. I now get maybe 6mb/s download when I was getting around 50mb/s before. Upload went from 10, to 19. Oooooo. Says "up to 250mbps". Haven't seen over 6 yet.

@Bastian_Vaughan @PublicUser14
you can try your sim card (if physical) in another phone. Putting a sim in another phone could force a sim reprovision and could resolve the problem.
if that does not work, you should then ask PM CS Agent to re-provision on the system.
Please open ticket with PM support:
Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", then "Other", then "Log In", finally click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗"
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after ticket submitted, CS Agent will reply to you there

Same here. Speed went south since I changed from the $34 to the $35 plan. On a good day I can get max 10 download. Upload is faster like 14 here at home. At the very same location I'm used to see numbers around 200 and 30ish in upload.

@PublicUser14 It seems odd that download is slower than upload. I often get close to the maximum 5G speed cut off, even when my phone is on LTE (5G signal is too weak in my house here but I do get 5G when out and about. Sometimes it is slower but that's a fact of life with cell phones/wireless internet. What phone do you have, and what are your speed connection settings? Do you have a battery saver turned on? If you want to ask customer service about it, open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page.

Are you a relatively new customers or is this a plan change? Changing to a more expensive plan (if you were already a customer) wouldn't make your speeds slower than berfore. If you were getting 6Mbps speeds before any such plan change, this is a network limitation. Unfortunately, network congestion or signal issues can cause slower speeds. You can try seeing if the changing between LTE and 5G networks makes any difference.
