I am trying to find more info on eversafe; like who it is, what it is, privacy policies, etc.
In context of PM; it would seem it is a platform owned and operated by Telus. It uses a purple leaf logo and indicates trademarked; presumably by Telus.
While googling "EverSafe" to find out more of Telus's Identity platform; I am finding a more significant presence of a Financial Fraud monitoring company geared towards seniors. I then pondered that maybe Telus has partnered with this EverSafe company to provide the EverSafe Identity platform. However, the EverSafe company has a completely different logo than the purple leaf Telus shows.
Seems very little info available about the Identity service public mobile is using.
This rabbit hole started with me wanting to confirm that I have the option to delete my eversafe account when/if I opt to.
Members in PM community have commented that a PM account can be cancelled upon porting out. While I dont doubt the above would essentially render the PM account gone per se (aka by delinking it); I am not certain this actually deletes the EverSafe Identity.
I am believing the EverSafe account is an Identity that once created, can be used to access many and multiple services that maybe leverage this Identity provider such as public mobile account and community account, etc.
Delinking a service from an identity provider doesn't necessarily delete the account from the underlying identity provider.
Does anyone have more insight on this EverSafe Identity platform they could share?
If I ever leave PM; I would want to delete my entire digital footprint and I do not see how to do this with EverSafe

Here is some more information about Eversafe:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/eversafe-faqs
Public mobile used this platform to better protect customers to access their mobile accounts with PM. This system offers 2FA authorization text/email to access PM accounts. Before this system, it was easier for hackers/scammers to access patient's phone numbers to commit fraud, etc.
As for concerns about privacy after leaving PM, once you port out of PM, your account is closed (like with other mobile companies). If further concerns, you could contact CSA at that time.

Not "Who' is EverSafe but "What" is EverSafe. EverSafe is not a person but just a login system by Telus. Telus customers use the same EverSafe system to login . EverSafe only keep your login credentials, email login, phone number to send 2FA code (can be any number and not just the number you have service with Public Mobile)
the EverSafe account is used to login My Account as well as Community , two different systems with PM
once you ported out, the PM My Account will be closed but not EverSafe login as you can still use the same login to post in the Community.
if you really want to completely close the EverSafe login as well, ask PM after you ported out the number. But after you ported out, you won't be able to open Chatbot ticket with PM as the My Account is gone, so at that time, you will have to message support agent after logged into the Community. Message them using this link
