Will i be able to call my wife's phone when both of us will be in USA

I have  unlimited Can -Usa  plan    , wife  only has  unlimited Can  plan  .. if  both  are in the usa  ,, will i  be able to call her phone ?   I know   she  will not be able to call me   ..

Yup, she can receive SMS for free without subscribing to US roaming, but she won't be able to reply or do anything else. She could buy a 15 day roaming add-on that includes calling and texting for as little as $15 though:

That's good to know  as  usually the only reason  i would need  to  txt her   is   for meet  up  when we are shopping   ...

Think roaming as cell towers your plan are you on. Canada/US plan will connect to Canada/US towers while in both countries …Canada plan will only connect to Canadian towers while in Canada and not in US. She will need to purchase a US Roaming for service connect to US towers.

If wifi is available you could use WhatsApp to call and text each other.  Other then that you will need an add on or a local sim to make calls there.

hi @Bastian_Vaughan actually without roaming , she can still connect to the 3 US networks and able to receive text.  Just cannot send text and no data and no calls

Without a roaming plan or add on, she will have no access to the network in the US. Therefore you can't reach her because she will have no signal on any network. Without a roaming plan or add on, she can only use her phone on wifi. You could call her then through messenger, WhatsApp etc but not straight to her phone number.
