Will I still get texts if I pause my account?

I am going to be traveling abroad for 4 months and I am wanting to pause my account for 90 days to save money. Some of my accounts require 2 factor verification with my phone number and I am wondering if I am still able to receive texts while my account is paused. This is the only thing I might need while abroad and everything else I will not be using.

As soon as account is suspended (by you or due to no payment) ALL services are cut off until bill is paid or account becomes Active.

Text messages will not be received.when you're outside of Canada (even if you keep paying for your plan).

consider using Authenticator app instead of sms for 2FA codes, it is safer and not tied with your phone service
