Hi All,
I tried to move to Telus and am in limbo for 48 hours. Telus took IMEI and account number, set up a eSIM with random number, but now PM not working. Turned SIM on and off, restarted phone, but not receiving texts or calls to old number. Can’t make calls either and no service showing (sos only) for PM. I’m stuck in between, Called Telus 3 times and they can’t do anything because I can’t approve the port via text.

@Lucieintheskyyy Your Public Mobile account should still be active unless you let it expire before you ported out, if you didn't get the text to reply Yes then the account should not have been closed already. Telus owns PM so they should be able to help but you can contact Public Mobile customer service via the chat icon bottom right of this page, if that doesn't work send them a private message using this link

is your PM sim a physical one or esim?
But is your Telus esim working? if PM sim not working now, it usually mean the port was completed. Try calling 1-855-4PUBLIC, enter your phone number, does it say the account is active or unable to find the account?
If it says unable to find the account, the port was done and PM account was closed. You can then remove the PM sim card or disable the PM esim from the phone.

@Lucieintheskyyy Try calling the Porting Help Line. I'll send you a message with the number.

@Lucieintheskyyy good news is that Telus owns Public Mobile so this really shouldn't be difficult to resolve. Message the Public Mobile support agent...
You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)
Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)
