Why did you remove the 3GB plan?

There are a lot of changes in the subscriptions recently. It's nice to see some more generous plans that are finally on par with the competition.

But we now have the choice between two plans with little data, that can fit many, for 15 and 25 dollars, at max 1GB. And then the big plan, 30GB for 44$ (and at the moment there is a deal for 39$). But from 1GB to 30GB, there is no plan in-between. Quite a shame to be honest to see this big lack. There is definitely space for a 30$ 5GB plan or something similar.

There are a lot of changes in the whole telcom industry, this big lack makes me look at Rogers and others, Public Mobile doesn't offer any more the convenience of the flexibility of plans! I'm ready to pay more for some more data, but 40+$ is just going to make walk away!

but than again. All of the plans that I listed in my make-believe chart isn’t realistic or sustainable in today’s market. Because all of the competition is rapidly changing since the Vidéotron and  Freedom merger  .. so maybe my idea isn’t  great after-all lol.

I’m sure the offerings will keep getting better and better as time goes on.. the offerings that we currently have now- we only would’ve dreamed about them a couple of years ago.. I’m sure that we’ll get stronger offerings over the next year or two.. i can’t wait for the 35$-40$ unlimited plans in the near future. if it keeps going this direction.

now that Vidéotron is technically a nationwide carrier thanks to freedom, I’m sure we’re going to see more Quebec-like plans all over the country very soon. our current offerings are closer to what Quebec was offering a few months ago. not quite but getting there. The fact that we have a $45 unlimited plan and a 50$ Canada/USA plan.

I would like to see a 10-15gig plan for 30$.

ok that looks better

@Proxima  .in that case I think your first 3 plans should be 100mbs

I’m thinking more along the lines of- eradicate all the current offerings, and have 6 set plans. that way most will be happy. and eradicate all of this 3G 4G 5G confusing nonsense, and have a set speed for every tier higher up- that way everybody knows what they’re getting and paying for.. include Wi-Fi calling for all price points as I think this is important for emergencies.

throw in some promotions for 5$ off each tier at the start of each season for 7 days (Winter, Fall, Summer, Spring sales)

@Proxima  Be nice to see but your second last two plans . Don’t make much sense considering you can get 20GB for $39 now with 100mbs and you can get 30GB for $45 5G unlimited with 250mbs

I agree, they should come out with 3 base plans for those that don’t need as much, and a few higher tiers for those that want a bit more.

20$ 2gigs (100mbps) Canada Wide

25$ 3gigs (100mbps) Canada Wide

 30$ 4gigs  (100mbps) Canada Wide

40$ 20gigs (150mbps) Canada Wide

50$ 30gigs (150mbps) unlimited throttle afterwards + long distance call minutes

60$ 40gigs (150mbps), long distance call minutes + North America Travel + Telus Call Control + Voicemail to Text message

I agree it's a good deal. But it's twice the price of the 1GB plan. For the summer I'm expecting to spend more time outside and I want a few more gigs, but paying twice is a lot for a bit of data (I'm never going to use 20GB). Anyway I'm looking at other providers now, with the Rogers/Shaw merge, all providers seem to be adjusting their plan, maybe Freedom Mobile will be more aggressive now.

I totally agree I switched to PM for the 3 GB plan , now I’m paying the same for 1 GB.☹️

@Vincedubc  Consider the 20GB for $39 30 day cycle . Is pretty solid plan offering right now . It’s limited time (promo )so get while the getting is good . And be sure to change plan on renewal and not immediately or you loose money on your current cycle .

@Vincedubc

Totally agree with you.  I was hoping they will increase the $25 data a bit or keep the $30-3GB.  But I doubt they will.  😞

I am sure Public Mobile is aware of the plan gap.  It looks like they are marketing the product to a different audience than before.

I totally agree with you. Not everyone needs to have a huge amount of data. There is nothing available for people in the 4-5 GB range for 4G. They had it before moving over to these new plans. They should have at least one option for people who don't require 20GB or more of data.

@Vincedubc   Yes, PM is now giving a push to 4G and 5G plans.  For now, only $25 and $15 plans are the small data plans left

But $39-20GB is a very good deal if you don't mind paying a little bit extra
