Why I can not change to CAN-US-MEX 29.00/MONTH from current subscription?

@DR377  Yes I am aware you can downgrade I was the first one here to suggest that hack for the $35 plan , but 

when you say in your last line If you are able to change your current plan to one less than $29, it will show up. Public Mobile will only allow you to pay more per month....not less!  “public mobile will only allow you to pay more per month that’s oxymoron statement as you clearly know you can downgrade to have switched to the $30 plan so “public mobile will allow downgrade “ just not many choices and have made it harder to do so . But yes it’s easier to upgrade plan price . Do you get my drift now on why I said see the flaw in your statement . Should just say if you can downgrade below the $29 plan and it should then appear because PM has made it  difficult to downgrade . Not that you can’t downgrade and will only allow plane upgrade in plan price

When I wanted to change my subscription from a $39 plan, I was offered one downgrade plan (4G - 20 GB at $30 per month) so I changed to this plan.

After I made the change to the $30 plan, the $35 Can, US & Mexico plan immediately appeared as an option. It was a work around to get the plan I wanted, that was less per month than the one I currently had. I hope this clarifies my previous post

@dwvip  Yes and no , you can still have option to downgrade plan price just not many . And if you could change current plan price to less then $29 that would be down grade not just only allowing upgrade . See the flaw in that ?

If you are able to change your current plan to one less than $29, it will show up. Public Mobile will only allow you to pay more per month....not less!

@Handy1 The $45 and $55 plans don't say it but like I said if you have a lower value plan the app may well offer it to you.

@dwvip  So does they all new activation only @kb_mv , $35 $45$ $55 all don’t some of us still see them in our accounts depending on the plan price we have now I have the $29 MEX option on my $13 account

add at least the $35 one still does , and a lot of us have that in our accounts to change to also  based on current plan price

PM now use targeted marketing and only show selected number of plans and not all.  So, not everyone can switch to the $29 roaming plan.   You an try asking support and see if they can help, but so far, many got declined

@dwvip @Handy1 If you click through on the $29 plan it does say "for new activations only" though I imagine if someone has a lower value plan, the app may offer it to them.

@dwvip  no not just for new activations , but My guess is because the plan you currently know is more then $29 now and PM really only wants people to upgrade plan price not downgrade plan price . And makes it harder to downgrade now . So short of porting  number out and back in on desired plan we can only change  to the plans that are available to us to switch to in our accounts . Some will tell you to ask support but they won’t help so it’s waste of both you and supports time . Only exception to that rule would be if you just activated in the last day/ or two but if you been existing customer the answer will be NO
