Depending on the provider - each level 4G, 5G and 5G+ has different throttle limits depending on the carrier and the sub-brands. ie public - cheaper plan, slower speeds etc.
Publics 4G is stated for up to 100mbps and their 5G is up to 250 Mbps. they don't seem to have any 5g+ plans - you need to go through one of the big three -R=1gbps B=~1.5gbps T= 2gbps

That data speed is actually higher than most PM customers will experience.
Data speeds should be capped to 250 Mbps

I've never had data speeds of OVER 250 Mbps.
This is with 'newer' devices (both ios & android), on Bell, Koodo, & Public Mobile.
What speed are you expecting @WilliamLC ?

Hey @WilliamLC Try figuring this out. BOTH of these phones are on the $34 5G 50GB plan. The 3rd is Telus 5G+

Nope. Been use for 8 months . Just wanna check if anyone can get better speed on 5g. Seems 280 is not fast on 5g.

HI @WilliamLC
280 is good for 5G
but is this the first couple days? not sure if PM still doing that, PM uses to not cap any speed on the first couple days of activation. But they will eventually cap it back to the proper speed after couple days
