@Mac21111992 You download it from the app when activating. . I generally prefer physical sim as I change devices often . And with eSIM you would need to re buy one each time you change devices . But it’s a way to activate right now with out leaving home or waiting for physical sim to arrive . You first want to make sure your phone is esim compatible thou

Yes, you can transfer your number to PM at any time.
if you are a new customer, I will recommend getting a random number from PM, once your service is up and running, you can transfer your number next

@Mac21111992 Yes you can port the number over during activation in the PM app . Just keep virgin sim active and in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port to public mobile . It’s that simple
add when prompted to transfer number , just use virgin account number and ignore using the IMEI it’s not needed and it often causes glitches
