Same here. Just received a reply with similar answer.I am switching to Freedom. Not worth the time and money.

same here - requested a plan that was for new activations only and was denied. You'll need to create a new account to get it.

Very limited options to change plans downwards now. Log in to your account > Manage Subscription > Change Subscription to view currently available to you plans. You'll see few, if any choices.

I've messaged Customer Support to request a downgrade in plans and my request was very politely denied.

you can try asking support and see if they can help

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

On 39$/mo. Plan but want to get down to 29$/mo. Don't use even close to 10gb in a month so it makes no sense to keep paying more.

that's one of the major negatives with Public Mobile now. As of last spring, we could no longer bounce in and out of whichever plans we want. For those winter snowbirds wanting the currently offered Canada / US / Mx plans will be in for a rude surprise when they get home and find they have very limited options for downsizing plans again. I know of a few PM customers have found better options elsewhere.

It's possible they will open up some plans to more customers as Black Friday gets closer. Other than that you can try contacting customer support to ask if they will switch it for you but there's no guarantee they will say yes.

Unfortunately, most existing customers can't downgrade their plans.  Public mobile has started to have customized personalized offers for existing customers.  Most plans offered to existing customers are more expensive than their present plan price.
