Voicemail notifications

I’m new to PM. I just set up my voicemail, no problem. Then I called my number from another phone and left a message. Back on my iphone I see a missed call, but there’s no notification that there is a voicemail. I’m puzzled. How am I supposed to know that someone has left me a message? Please don’t say “you have to call the voicemail to see if there are messages waiting” !!

Tried this. Didn’t work. Any ideas on how to get a live agent with PM, not A.I. chat? Or heaven forbid get support on a phone call?

To reset your iPhone's network settings, go to Settings , click General  and then  Transfer or Reset iPhone, then choose Reset, then tap Reset Network Settings

Where do you reset the network settings? Don’t see it under Settings>Cellular

there should be a notification of voicemail waiting on your iPhone. It might take a few minutes for the indication though. That's how it works on my iPhone anyhow.

notification for VM is hit and miss for some, mainly iPhone for whatever reason

try Reboot phone and reset network settings
